Call for Artists!
Our 2026 merch is looking for its sole-mate
The pride & remembrance run is back for 2026, and we’re looking for a visionary creator to design an outstanding look to reflect Toronto’s most high-energy, high-impact morning.
Since 1996, we’ve been running, walking, and rolling through the Village to celebrate our history and build our future. Now, we need you to help us bottle that magic into a single, stunning design for our 2026 merchandise.
The Vibe: Joy, Sweat, and Solidarity
We aren’t just any 5K. We are the only athletic event during Toronto Pride Weekend. Our goal is to raise funds for vital 2SLGBTQ+ non-profits while celebrating the community that keeps us moving. Your design should capture:
This year’s theme: Run It Forward
The Joy: The glitter, the rainbows, the cheering crowds, and the post-run high.
The Remembrance: Honouring those who paved the way and the history we’re now running forward
The Hustle: The athleticism and grit of our runners and walkers.
The Community: A reflection of the diverse, vibrant 2SLGBTQ+ spectrum of our participants and the Church/Wellesley Village where we run every year.
The Technical Bit
To keep things sleek and iconic, we are looking for a single-colour design. Think bold lines, clever use of negative space, and a look that pops.
Who You Are
We are specifically seeking local artists who identify as members of the 2SLGBTQ+ community. We want to feature the talent that lives right here in our neighborhoods.
How to Apply
We don’t need a finished masterpiece yet — we want to see your vision! Please send us all of the following:
The Pitch: A brief description of your concept and how it ties into our themes.
The Vibe Check: A rough sketch or mood board (nothing fancy, just enough to show us the direction).
The Goods: Links to your portfolio, Instagram, or attached examples of your previous work.
The successful artist will be paid a stipend of $500.
Deadline: Wednesday, February 25, 2026
